    "content": "Notably, the Vice-Chancellor of the University of Nairobi expressed concern about the demands by UASU, stating that all decisions made by the Council underwent all lawful channels before implementation. Article 47 of the Constitution of Kenya provides that every person has the right to fair administrative action. Unfortunately, the revocation of the appointment of Professor Amukowa Anangwe appears to have been processed without granting him the opportunity to respond to the allegations. It is against this background that I request a Statement from the Chairperson of the Departmental Committee on Education on the following: 1. The specific reason that led to the dismissal of Professor Amukowa Anangwe from his position as Chairperson of the University of Nairobi Council.
