"content": " On a point of order, Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir. I think it is very clear that Standing Order No.81 refers to personal interest. We must make a distinction between personal interest and an office. Today, the Attorney-General is Mr. Amos Wako. Tomorrow, it might be Ms. Milly Odhiambo. So, we must make a distinction between personal interest and the official interest. Here, it is not Mr. Amos Wako as a person that the Bill is referring to, but rather, to the Attorney-General of the Sovereign Republic of Kenya. It could be him today and another person tomorrow. Mr. Amos Wako is moving debate on this Bill because he is the one in law who can do it. Secondly, he is not doing this only for himself but also for the other constitutional office holders. So, I think there is a distinction between personal interest that Standing Order No.81 refers and where you are doing a job as a public officer."
