"content": "Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, I rise pursuant to standing order 53(1) to seek a Statement from the Standing Committee of Health regarding the operationalization of Kiongwe and Mikinduni dispensaries in Lamu county. In the Statement, the Committee should- (1) Provide details on the state of Kiongwe and Mikinduni dispensaries in Lamu county, explaining why the dispensaries are still non-operational despite completion of construction works. (2) State when the dispensaries will be made operational, outlining measures put in place by the county government of Lamu to ensure that the dispensaries are adequately staffed with qualified medical personnel, and provide with the necessary medical equipment and supplies."
