    "content": "(Prof. Saitoti): Thank you very much, Mr. Speaker, Sir. On 12th May, 2009, hon. Letimalo, the hon. Member for Samburu East, rose on a point of order and requested a Ministerial Statement from the Minister of State for Provincial Administration and Internal Security with regard to the alleged presence of the Oromo Liberation Front (OLF) in our own country. Mr. Speaker, Sir, just as an important preamble, I want to make this Statement because it is extremely important because it touches on the relationship between our country and the neighbouring country of Ethiopia. Since Independence, our country has followed the policy of non-interference in the affairs of other countries, and that is manifested in our membership in the Non-Aligned Movement during the Cold War period. Indeed, Kenya has also had good relationships with our neighboring countries and, to date, we have continued to extend the ideals of that policy."
