    "content": "On a point of order, Mr. Speaker, Sir. I rise to seek a Ministerial Statement from the Minister for Public Health and Sanitation regarding the fact that there is concern that the risk of cancer in the country is on the rise. While there are many other causative reasons for cancer, it is also known that the causes could partly be attributed to substances such as lead and cadmium. These substances have been used in preparation of plastic containers, which eventually end up containing edible oils and magarines that are consumed by Kenyans. Eventually, these containers end up in the rural areas, where everybody uses them to store water for their personal household use. This lead and cadmium can leak into the food and into the water and, therefore, result in the cause of cancer."
