"content": " Hon. Millie gave very many examples of women who have come before us. Others are still in this House. They have been extremely fantastic leaders. We continue to learn so much from them. We also want to follow the same path they have shown us. Being a people who does not support gender politics blindly, I believe much is expected to whom much is given. We have to put in the work. Those of us who have been privileged to be in these spaces also have to demonstrate to people out there, both men and women, that we are actually capable. That is the only way society will continue to believe that we must have both women and men in these spaces to have equity and a fair society. I just want to finish by wishing all the women in Kenya, Nyamira, and the entire world, a happy International Women's Day as we celebrate it on Saturday."
