I would like to ask the Cabinet Secretary for Agriculture and Livestock Development the following Question - (a) What measures has the Government put in place to prevent the mixing of different qualities of teas before being sold at the Mombasa Tea Auction, which distorts the price to the disadvantage of farmers who produce high-quality tea? (b) Could the Cabinet Secretary provide details on the gains attained from the implementation of tea reforms so far, and also provide a commitment towards the continued implementation of the reforms to ensure better returns for tea farmers across the country?"
