    "content": "A chest X-ray, fundoscopy and brain CT scan were done and an HIV test was carried out. Assessments were also done to confirm her oxygenation and electrolyte balance. Rachel’s death was explainable in terms of the advanced level of sickness at the time of admission. The fact that she stayed at the Accident and Emergency Wing for 15 hours being attended to and subsequently admitted to Ward 7D, where she died eight hours later, shows no negligence but appropriate care to a patient whose state was advanced sickness. Perhaps, if she had not been brought to the KNH, her life could have been cut short even earlier at the Molo facility where she was being treated."
