    "content": " Thank you very much, Hon. Speaker, for giving me an opportunity to add my voice to this important debate on Supplementary Estimates II. I want to start by appreciating the work that the Liaison Committee has done in terms of processing the Supplementary Estimates. I am very happy that the Liaison Committee got a chance to do this job because, in the past, when the Chairpersons appeared before the Budget and Appropriations Committee, they would complain that the Committee reduced their budgets.
