    "content": "It is against this background that I request a Statement from the Chairperson of the Departmental Committee on Lands on the following: 1. Clarification on whether land parcels registered as L.R. No. Bungoma Municipality/345, 610, 611, 612, 852, 795, 798 and 799 have been decommissioned and the current status of their registration. 2. A report on the measures put in place to protect the land from encroachment and eviction of any person illegally occupying the land. 3. A report on the public participation processes undertaken by the Government during the decommissioning of the land, including any consultations held regarding future plans for the land parcels."
