Temporary Chairlady, as I support this, I notice that Sub-Vote 047600 on Legislative Training, Research, and Knowledge Management, has not really received any support and particularly, research. This is extremely important in legislation. Maybe, it is just me; but I wonder whether many other Members realise that research has not been supported as much. There is a lot of bureaucracy if you want information that is probably, not within Parliament. On this area of research, the Parliamentary Service Commission (PSC) should fund it more so that it supports the decisions that we make."
