Quite often when doctors are employed by the Ministry, before their papers are processed, there is a lag period between the time of being assigned a particular station and the time the documents are ready so that their payment can be made. This is because of what we discussed the other day. We said that the hiring process should be shortened; that is the time taken to prepare the documents for the doctors hired through the Public Service Commission (PSC) and the time the Ministry takes to post them to stations should be reduced.
