"content": "is as deep as 56 to 68 metres. Several of those beacons will be erected deep in the lake right from the base. They must be such that they are visible to the human eye. It is quite expensive to erect such beacons. Along the boundary, we are talking of a boundary of close to 850 kilometre. Beacons will be erected on land from the centre of the mouth of Sio River through Busia, Malaba on the top of Mt. Elgon up to the junction with Sudan. In the process of the survey, there will be aerial activities and GPS systems. They will be on the lake boats that will be hired for the business. The money put in place by both governments may very well not be exhausted. If it is not, the balance will go back to the Treasury. If it is exhausted, then they will ask for some more. But I do hope that they will not exhaust the money."
