Wamalwa’s question, what President Museveni said in Dar es Salaam, two or three days ago, simply confirmed what we have been saying all along; namely, that Migingo is Kenya’s Island. But I did say that there is need for the boundary to be surveyed, Migingo or not, so that we can get the boundaries clearly defined. As I did say sometime back, it is only our boundary with Ethiopia that has been properly surveyed. We are in the process of getting all the others properly, even where there are no arguments and disputes, so that we conform to the African Union (AU) and United Nations (UN) requirements, which again, is international law at play. Thank you."
