    "content": "am also a Member of the Departmental Committee on Agriculture, Lands and Natural Resources. I want to congratulate this Committee for doing commendable work and coming up with proposals on ways of generating enough food for this country. I want to cite a few examples in this report that have made me second the proposed amendment. First, we have talked about the ad hoc committee chaired by the Prime Minister and that they need to be investigated for the way they handled the grain that was imported. In this Report, there is no indication that we invited the ad hoc committee to come and shed light on their misdoings at any one time. Secondly, the Prime Minister, his family and officers in his office have been said to have been involved in the saga surrounding the imported maize, but when you go through the list of Government officials or individuals who were invited by the Committee to give evidence over the maize saga, there is no record where the Prime Minister or anybody around his family or office were invited."
