There is a recommendation that has been made by the committee that I am agreeing with. The automation of the withdrawal of the debt service payment from the Consolidated Fund. The national debt has become an extremely opaque thing. You cannot tell how much has been paid and within what time. For the pending bills in our counties, you will have a view because they are managed through the IFMIS. Therefore, you can tell that this was the date it was accrued and this is what has been done to it. Why not have the same, so that we can follow and understand how our national debt is flowing? We can then know how exactly this money that has been taken as national debt has been used. The electronic version of the Senate Hansard Report is for information purposesonly.
