Temporary Speaker, looking at the category of youths engaged in this gig economy, the legal framework we are going to propose should exempt them from paying income tax and instead impose a corporate tax on the technology companies. This is because if we treat them as workers, they will qualify for a minimum wage, which in this country is not taxed. The legal framework should give that tax incentive because most of them are students or unemployed youths. Thank you, Hon. Temporary Speaker."
