It is important to note that in coffee farming, farmers have the freedom to sell their produce to anyone. They are not compelled to sell to the NCE. There exists a parallel marketing system where farmers can sell directly. Madam Temporary Speaker, this has also led to the presence of middlemen who often take advantage of farmers in need of quick money by purchasing coffee at lower prices and transporting it to the NCE where they resell it for significant profit.
