    "content": "Thank you, Madam Temporary Speaker. Let me first say that indeed, as a country, we need the IEBC in place as soon as possible. We must appreciate that there has been quite some delay in the process. In that delay, there are citizens of this country who are not being represented, either in the National Assembly, Senate, or even in the County Assemblies. Those citizens have a right to be represented and their matters to be heard through their representatives. In view of that, despite the challenges of the Chairperson not writing to the Senate and we take exception that there is contempt of this House to the extent that they seem not to understand that we have a responsibility as a Senate also to approve the extension of time for them to be able to conduct their work, I do support this Motion.
