Speaker, pursuant to Standing Order 44(2)(c), I rise to seek a Statement from the Chairperson of the Departmental Committee on Administration and Internal Security regarding the disappearance and subsequent death of Ms Lydia Tokeshi Bukhala. On 7th January 2025, Ms Lydia Tokeshi Bukhala of ID No.34613679 was reported missing in Nairobi only for her body to be found dumped in Gataka Forest in Rongai. On 9th January 2025, her vehicle was discovered abandoned in Riruta. It was with visible bloodstains and vomit inside, raising concerns about the circumstances of her disappearance and subsequent death. This necessitated forensic analysis of the evidence found in the vehicle in relation to her disappearance and subsequent death.
