"content": " Thank you, Hon. Speaker. Thank you for the response. One of the strangest things about these cases is that they have all happened in one sub-location. The responses by the Committee are only talking about pending investigations. In the case of David Gitau, the Committee said that the police have arrested someone who had his phone through a copy of the IMEI number. It would help us to know what he has been charged with, whether he has confessed to being one of the people who caused the disappearance of Gitau, and whether he is connected to the other disappearances. Hon. Speaker, they have talked about increased patrols in the region. I would have liked to hear about the frequency and whether they have increased the number of police officers. We are told about forensics. It is unfortunate that in the case of James Mburu Kariuki, his disappearance was reported on 8th January. The report from Safaricom says that his phones were switched off on 26th January, which is 18 days later. There is a lot of information that is not there and I would like to get some clarity from the Committee. The electronic version of the Official Hansard Report is for information purposesonly. A certified version of this Report can be obtained from the Hansard Editor."
