    "content": "Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, yesterday, one of your colleagues dismissed this House stating that it is Nyumba ya Wazee . It is very unfortunate because it was stated by the Minority Leader on the Floor of the House. I do not know why the Speaker of the National Assembly would allow the Senate to be discussed in bad faith, especially when the report on bicameral Houses of Parliament was being debated yesterday. Under Article 93 of the Constitution, all of us are Members of Parliament (MPs). I do not know why Members of the National Assembly feel threatened with the existence of the Senate, yet we all serve “Wanjiku”. We are serving one Kenya. Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, you supported us and we passed the legislation into law. I appeal to Members of both Houses to have mutual respect for each other. Sometimes we think that the National Assembly--- Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, having presided ably today in the afternoon, we have passed many Bills from the National Assembly.
