On the question of the amount of money given to schools in terms of infrastructure repairs, where some schools are indicated to have received Ksh1,500,000 while the Member indicated that others are receiving more, as a Ministry, we will be working towards ensuring that there is a balance and equitable distribution of the available resources. In terms of ensuring that the funds that we release to the schools are utilised for the purpose for which they were released, we have our quality assurance officers under our Internal Audit Unit. They normally audit those funds to ensure that they have been correctly applied. Where we find that they have not been applied properly, action is then taken on a case-by-case basis."
