    "content": "it is against this background that I request for a Statement from the Chairperson of the Departmental Committee on Lands on the following– 1. The status of current ownership of the 55-acre parcel of public land in Githunguri Town, including whether any portion of it has been allocated to a private individual. 2. The actions being taken by the Ministry of Lands, Public Works, Housing and Urban Development to investigate the alleged transfer of the public land to Ms Lydia Wanjiku Gatheca and to revoke any irregular transactions involving the land. 3. The strategies being implemented by the Ministry to protect lawful landowners, particularly of public land, from unlawful encroachment. Thank you Hon. Speaker."
