However, on 6th May, 2009, hon. Imanyara sought a Ministerial Statement from the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Finance concerning a figure of Kshs9.2 billion, which was shown as having been falsified in the documents. Hon. Members sought the Speaker’s guidance on what should be done with the documents that had been laid on the Table by the Government in the House which contained discrepancies.
