She committed to fortifying Kenya’s presence within (EAC), bridging borders through capital market integration, energy connectivity and trade facilitation while promoting value addition to Kenyan products. Dr. Karugu demonstrated a good understanding of what EAC entails. She may be the best Principal Secretary that Kenya has produced so far. In this docket, she is going to leverage all opportunities that lie within the EAC. Kenya, being the regional leader with a robust and fast-growing economy, stands to benefit immensely."
