As I heard the Assistant Minister’s response to part (a), he stated that the Committee that oversees this department is carrying out an inquiry into this matter and that the department has supplied information to the Committee. The standard practice and what is expected of a Committee inquiring into any matter is that the Committee prepares a report which is tabled in the House. The House then considers the report and either adopts or rejects it or directs as it may deem appropriate. That should give direction to the House. Therefore, I think the Minister is in order."
