    "content": "The Commission represents the first institutional attempt to address the problem of ethnicity in the country. Mr. Temporary Deputy Speaker, Sir, in terms of the process, these posts were advertised nationally in more than three dailies. Thereafter, the Committee on Administration of Justice and Legal Affairs received 109 applications and set up a sub- committee to handle the applications. Out of the 109 applicants, 30 were shortlisted for interviews and on 8th April, 2008, the Committee adopted the Report of the sub- committee that was set up to deal with this. Mr. Temporary Deputy Speaker, Sir, on 16th April, 24 applicants were interviewed and on the 21st April, five others were interviewed.
