The Cabinet Secretary for Interior and National Administration should take the issue of the operationalisation of administrative units in this country seriously. This issue is not only in Kirinyaga but across the country. I call upon the Cabinet Secretary for Interior and National Administration and the Departmental Committee on Administration and Internal Security to take up that matter and ensure that, apart from operationalisation of administrative units, they outline the legal framework guiding the setting up of new administrative units in this country. There is no clear framework. It is only given as a token or upon request. Hon. Temporary Speaker, I second that Statement."
