    "content": "We laud the interventions that this House has made, and look forward to the Departmental Committee on Transport and Infrastructure coming up with more innovations that will cushion our bodaboda riders against the high cost of training and safety gears such as helmets, which they need. We need to thank them because they are a good example of organisation. Bodaboda stages across the country are organised. There is a chairman in charge of every stage who approves all the riders for that particular area, and know each other. Some of them have welfare programmes that are organised at the ward level, sub-county level and even at the national level. If we can find other ways of supporting them, especially with affirmative action products, they can transform our nation, not just economically, but also by ensuring there is safe movement of goods and people from point A to point B.
