Members, as you are aware, at the rise of this sitting today, the House is scheduled to proceed on its long recess from Friday, 2nd May to Monday, 26th May 2025, in accordance with its Calendar for the Fourth Session. You may further recall that the countrywide public participation exercise for the Constitution of Kenya (Amendment) Bill (National Assembly Bill No.4 of 2025) is scheduled to be undertaken from Monday, 5th May 2025 to Thursday, 8th May 2025 at identified venues across all constituencies. In this regard, I direct all committees to suspend their sittings on the stated dates in order to allow Members and staff to facilitate this important exercise. The House is accordingly guided.
