"content": "Hon. Cabinet Secretary, in your answer to Question (c), you have indicated that a learner with disability may be placed in any school so long as the school has facilities to support them. In my view, that is a wrong notion. Under the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD) and the laws of Kenya, every school is supposed to be facilitated by the Government to integrate learners with disabilities. That means that a student in a particular locality should not be going far away to look for a school because schools next to them do not have facilities that integrate disability."
