"content": "The Health Committee’s report underscores the urgency of the House to implement mechanisms to hold governors accountable and ensure proper service delivery. We fight daily to enhance county budgets and they do. Governor Barchok in Bomet County has budget exceeding Ksh2 billion in health, yet most facilities remain with no drugs, infrastructure is inadequate and nearly zero services to the people. We appreciate the committee’s oversight visits and encourage additional reviews as part of this House’s mandate. This is not about politics. It is part of the mandate of this House.
