    "content": "Kenyan and African passengers deserve equitable, dignified and high-quality service when they board international flights, regardless of which continent they are departing from or flying to. I urge the Committee to treat this matter with the seriousness it deserves and ensure this House is duly informed on the way forward. In the Statement the Committee should address the following- (1) Measures the Kenya Civil Aviation Authority (KCAA) and other relevant agencies have put in place to address this service disparity by international airlines operating flights to and from Kenya. (2) Guidelines or agreements in place to ensure uniform service standards and passenger experience by international carriers regardless of route geography and whether there are collaborations with the African or regional bodies to advocate for fair treatment of African passengers on international flights. (3) Remedial measures that could be pursued to engage airlines like Egypt Air, Turkish Airlines, among others, on concerns of inconsistent and potentially discriminatory service on African routes. (4) Kenya's consumer protection mechanisms in aviation to address complaints of poor or unequal service by international airlines. Thank you."
