This statement is issued pursuant to Standing Order No. (56)(1)(a) of the Senate Standing Orders. Mr. Speaker, Sir, I rise pursuant to Standing Order No. (56)(1)(a) of the Senate Standing Orders to make a statement relating to a matter for which the Committee is responsible, namely the nomination and vetting of the chairperson and members of the IEBC."
