    "content": "The Committee is currently following up on several responses from the Ministry of ICT and Digital Economy, the Communication Authority of Kenya (CAK), Safaricom Ltd., and the Media Council of Kenya (MCK). The Committee is conducting inquiries into critical telecommunication infrastructure in the country and the operations of Integrated Financial Management Information System (IFMIS) as well as other county revenue collection and management systems. The Committee is scheduled to conduct more county visits within the coastal and Nyanza regions. It will also carry out fact-finding visits to various counties to assess the extent of the fibre optic network coverage in county headquarters, county assemblies, Government offices and schools. This will ensure online access to Government services is available to all. In conclusion, I wish to thank the Office of the Speaker and the Office of the Clerk of the Senate for their continued support accorded to the Committee in undertaking its work. I also extend my gratitude to the Members of the Committee for their commitment, diligence and contributions during Committee’s activities. I thank you."
