    "content": "Mr. Temporary Deputy Speaker, Sir, if as regional leaders we are not supporting this nominee, why did the Parliamentary Select Committee (PSC) not consider our concern. Instead, a name is being shoved down our throats. As a region, we feel short-changed and I am asking this Parliament to consider our plight. We have other nominees who were interviewed and they qualify to be members of this Committee. We would prefer that one of them takes up that position and the one who has been listed here be removed from the list. I speak for the region and as Members from the region, we have no faith in this nominee."
