"content": "(Dr. Mwiria): Mr. Temporary Deputy Speaker, Sir, thank you for giving me the opportunity to contribute in support of this list. Let me begin by congratulating the team for that unity of purpose. This is very different from that of the Interim Independent Electoral Commission (IIEC) because in this case, there seems to have been no disagreement. Last time we were exposed to a situation whereby Members of the same Committee were disagreeing about nominees. I also congratulate them for coming up with a very good team. We agree that they are qualified and very professional people. It is good that even issues about personality and Members not being accepted because they represent certain political parties or they come from certain ethnic groups were put on the backside. All of us belong to tribes and political parties. That is the reality of this country."
