    "content": "Thank you, Mr. Speaker, Sir. I wish to second the Motion as moved by my very able Chair of the Justice, Legal Affairs and Human Rights Committee (JLAHRC). This Motion is pretty much straightforward as it speaks to the need to seek to extend the time within which the Committee will be allowed to consider the reservations as sent forward by the President. You will notice, this is the second time this Bill is being referred back to Parliament for further amendments. If you look at the reservations from the President, what has been proposed raises quite serious concerns and very weighty would-be amendments. As a Committee, we wish to be allowed much more time to caucus, discuss and thoroughly look into the proposed amendments, the clauses as they are so that we can come up with a much more acceptable version that will be ready for presidential assent. Mr. Speaker, Sir, with those many remarks, I beg to second this Motion."
