Every Kenyan has a right to live and do politics and business in any part of this country – be it in Migori, Kakamega, Busia, Nyeri, Murang’a, Embu, Kilifi or anywhere else in the country. There is constitutional freedom to do what you would want to do anywhere in this country. This country has constitutional commissions with specific mandates. The National Cohesion and Integration Commission (NCIC) summoned the former Deputy President, but he refused to appear before it as if he is above the law. He said he cannot appear before the Commission even though it is funded by taxpayers’ money."
