    "content": " Mr. Speaker, Sir, on actual amounts that these Members earn, I may not have the actual figure. However, I am told the lowest is in the region of about Kshs28,000 per month. It is fairly low that is why there was a recommendation from the Akiwumi Tribunal to push it up to a living pension of at least Kshs100,000 or US$1,000 per month. I think it was put in US dollar terms. Mr. Speaker, Sir, I repeat this; you can only be able to change it if you amend the law.
