    "content": "Mr. Speaker, Sir, I rise pursuant to Standing Order No. 53(1) to seek a Statement from the Standing Committee on Roads and Transportation on a matter of inter-county concern regarding the status of construction of the Kibwezi-Mutomo-Kitui-Migwani- Mbondoni Road. The Ministry of Roads and Transport has announced the securalisation of Kshs175 billion from the Roads Maintenance Levy Fund to pay pending bills for contractors to return to sites to complete stalled road projects across the country. In the Statement, the Committee should address the following- (1) The amount of money set aside to facilitate the resumption of construction works on the Kibwezi-Mutomo-Kitui-Migwani-Mbondoni Road."
