    "content": "Mr. Speaker, Sir, I rise to support two Statements by Sen. Enock Wambua and Sen. Mwenda Gataya. I will start by congratulating the great people of Homa Bay County. Last Sunday, Madaraka Day was celebrated in my county of Homa Bay. I thank our people for the show and demonstration of patriotism. They came in large numbers, Mr. Speaker, Sir. A number of them came on foot. They have been so happy. Most people were very cagey about the numbers that were in Homa Bay, but that was real demonstration of the resolve of our people, especially from the Lake region. These are people who when they mean yes, they say yes and when they say no, they mean no. The demonstration on Madaraka Day was very clear to everybody that our people were happy. We are a community who show it on our face. We said yes because we meant yes. Mr. Speaker, Sir, I now support the Statement by Sen. Wambua about the resurgence of banditry in Kitui County. Banditry has led to a lot of suffering in regions. We have witnessed loss of lives, destruction of properties and interruption of livelihood"
