    "content": "Education remains a critical tool for individual empowerment and advancing the economic, social, and personal well-being of all citizens. A high dropout rate and poor or lack of enrolment of students diminishes the human capital available and jeopardises the economic prosperity of the country in the future. It is against this background that I request for a Statement from the Chairperson of the Departmental Committee on Education on the following: 1. A report on the number of school-going children in Othaya Constituency and across the country indicating those in and out of school. 2. The measures by the Government to restore student enrolment in primary and secondary schools in areas such as Othaya Constituency, which has declined in recent years. 3. The steps taken by the Government to avert the potential education crisis, especially in light of the significant drop in enrolment rate, owing to the prevailing economic challenges. Thank you, Hon.
