"content": "case declared this position unconstitutional. The Court found that the foregoing rules and guidelines were unconstitutional for being discriminatory. Following the judgment, the KNEC has been working with various examination bodies to develop a method for equating their certificates. The Kenya Association of International Schools has been coordinating the submission of documents required to develop an equation criteria from the various examination boards operating in Kenya. The development of an equation criterion entails evaluation of the curriculum in question, teaching syllabi, mode of teaching, assessment, and grading and certification in order to ascertain how a given curriculum would compare with the Kenyan education system.
