    "content": "However, Madam Temporary Deputy Speaker, there are issues that have been dogging our people for quite a long time. The education policy was not mentioned in that Speech and yet, the Education Act has not been revised for quite some time. Actually, right now, the Education Act is outdated. There have been bodies, committees and commissions that are running education and yet, they are not catered for in the Education Act. It is time that the education of this country is taken very, very seriously because some of the problems we are encountering are as a result of our education policy. If we do not look at our education polices properly, the country’s youth, who we are preparing for leadership; who we are preparing to take over jobs, will not manage what we want to prepare them for."
