    "content": "Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, we strongly oppose the proposed importation of coal by KenGen to generate electricity. We urge the Government to invest and put money into the exploitation of coal so that energy can be generated through coal. That way, we will save the country enormous foreign exchange. We will create many employment opportunities and we will ensure that we get cheap and clean energy through coal generation. Therefore, the Ministry of Energy, which has, up to now, been doing investigations in those areas for the last four years, should go ahead and exploit that coal so that it can be used for generating energy."
