It is against this background that I request for a statement from the Chairman of the Departmental Committee on Defence, Intelligence and Foreign Relations on the following: 1. A report on the actions taken by the Ministry of Defence and the Office of the Attorney General to comply with the High Court judgement awarding compensation to the family of Mr. Abdullahi Bare Diis. 2. To comply with the High Court judgement awarding compensation to the family of Mr. Abdullahi Bare Diss. 3. A report on administrative or disciplinary measures taken against the KDF officers who were involved in the unlawful killing, and to ensure a definite and time-bound resolution of this matter, including the compensation of the affected families.
