Part III of the First Schedule to the Excise Duty Act is amended− Schedule to Cap.472 (a) by deleting the definition of “amount wagered or staked”; (b) by inserting the following new definition in proper alphabetical sequence- “amount deposited into a customer’s betting wallet” means the amount of money transferred by a customer into the customer wallet maintained by a licensed betting and gaming operator for betting and gaming purposes."
