As a woman leader, it would not be right for me not to correct your Report. I propose that you change it to read that “Ms Peris Muthoni Kimani has served with distinction in the police forces, including in hardship areas”, that is a nicer way. If you must mention her gender, I would have preferred if you said, “as one of the few women in the police force at the time, Ms Peris Muthoni Kimani served diligently including in hardship areas, demonstrating her resilience and commitment”.
